Sandford Mill had a series of events during 2004. For example CARS supported Open Afternoon events on Aug 8 & 22. In September, Science Day was on Sunday Sep-26.

26-Sep-2004: Science in the Park Day

Sunday, 26th September, 2004 - Amateur Radio at Sandford Mill.

There was an Amateur Radio Station in operation and lots of things for youngsters (5 years to 85 years) to do and twiddle with. Refreshments were available.

CARS Members operating GX0MWT on Sunday the 25th July, 2004.
40 metres was open but the others bands were poor.
