Science Discovery Day - October 2016

CARS were present at Sandford Mill on Sunday 23rd October for the annual Science Discovery Day. The mild dry weather prompted a good turnout including plenty of youngsters and was ideal for our outdoor demos.

In the main building GX0MWT was operating on HF with SSB/CW, along with snap-circuits and SDR demos in the 2MT hut. Upstairs Colin G0TRM had a busy time with the ever-popular morse-keys demos. Other demos on the day included a TV demo with autocue using Marconi cameras and plenty of activities for youngsters who were around in great numbers.
