Monday May 16th saw over fifty turn up for Essex Skills Night, hosted by CARS at Danbury Village Hall. Skills Coordinator Pete M0PSX has again arranged some interesting topics/demos...

A new feature was 'Essential Skills' which Charlie M0PZT ran to offer advice on improving operating confidence and dealing with aerials in small gardens. Aimed at newer licensees, we hope the idea catches on, so do ask if interested.

SDR Dongles again made an appearance. This time Paul 2E0DNQ had a demo and advice on setting up the budget ones, whilst Andy G7TKK had a different one he had converted to receive HF bands
